All families must complete the online registration by May 2, 2025, to ensure transportation for both 2025 Summer School and the 2025-2026 school year. If registration is not complete by the deadline, your student will not receive transportation for the first full week of summer school or for the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.

Join us this Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Northwest Early Childhood Center (6180 Highway MM in House Springs) for the annual District Art Show.
The District Art Show features a variety of artwork from talented Northwest students of all grade levels. Admission is free, and all are welcome. We hope to see you there!

Ms. Kristen's class is learning about camping and they invited their buddy class friends in Ms. Clare's room to join them for s'mores today!









The NHS cast of The Little Mermaid visited ECC this week and performed songs from their production. Our students absolutely loved seeing the "big" kids in their costumes!








Ms. Kayla and Ms. Jessica’s class got together for a surprise buddy egg hunt and snack. Then ended with friendship bracelets!










Tonight's the night! Bring your child's DQ slip! The class who turns in the most slips will earn a Dilly Bar party!

This week's #SupportStaffSuperstar is Northwest Early Childhood Center paraprofessional Ashley Goldbaugh. ECC director Susan Wingenbach said of Ms. Ashley, "She takes the time to build relationships with each child and supports them outside of the school setting." Congratulations, and thank you for all you do for our youngest Lions, Ms. Ashley!

There is a tornado warning in our area. Children will not be released until the warning is over. We are taking shelter in schools. Buses are heading back to elementary schools and ECC campus if they have already left.

Tomorrow's Leadership Luau spirit theme is....

Thank you to the Jefferson County Library-Northwest Branch for hosting ECC and our families last night! Our families enjoyed all of the activities including story time and meeting Pete The Cat! 📚









This week, Ms. Kristen’s class had a Farm to Table day! Students made their own butter with heavy cream, a jar, and a marble—then enjoyed it on fresh bread. They also chopped and mixed a delicious fruit salad and created a vibrant fruit stand display.

In unit 9 we have been learning about food from farms and factories. This week Ms. Alyssa and Ms. Hayley’s class synergized to plan and make a fruit salad! They also discussed how fruit is sent to factories to make different things like juice for our smoothies!
