Cedar Springs Elementary students are enjoyed learning about MyPlate and the food groups with Chef Tori and dietician Miss Amanda. They learned about perfect portion sizes for a healthy balanced meal and the importance of every food group. A big shoutout to Chef Tori and all of our food service workers for their efforts in educating and nourishing our students!

Proposition S projects at Cedar Springs, High Ridge, and Woodridge are continuing to go along according to schedule. The Cedar Springs project is in the midst of running electric and cables. High Ridge is still clearing some of the area for the new entryway, and Woodridge is framing their new entryway.

A huge shout-out to the High Ridge Firefighters for an amazing day yesterday at Murphy Elementary School! Our students had a blast meeting our community heroes, exploring the firetruck, and cooling down with the fire hose on a hot, summer day!

Today, the Missouri History Museum visited fifth-grade students at Cedar Springs Elementary to teach them about the fascinating history and connection between the Mississippi River and St. Louis. Students used their critical thinking skills to identify and understand the purpose of 200-year-old artifacts! Thank you to the Missouri History Museum for this amazing experience!

Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers and father figures of Northwest Lion Nation!
