We want to thank the Northwest High School Alumni Association for their donation of a bronze plaque for the Living Tree Military Memorial at Northwest High School.
The Living Tree Military Memorial is dedicated to those who have served our country, paying tribute to these brave men and women by hanging a dog tag from the tree with each person's name engraved on it.

Spirits were high and the energy was contagious as we welcomed back teachers and staff at the Northwest District Kickoff at Northwest High School! After a wonderful breakfast from our Food Service staff, updates from the summer, and a high-energy presentation by guest speaker Dustin James , the staff went back to their buildings to hold their own Professional Development sessions for staff.

Did You Know? The Northwest High School Student Council was awarded the Missouri Association of Student Councils Honor Council Gold Award, an award presented to only 58 student councils in the state of Missouri.


Did You Know? The Northwest High School Liontrac Yearbook earned a Top 10 percent Portfolio Award from Varsity Yearbooks.


Did You Know? Nine Northwest High School fine arts students placed in the annual Jefferson College High School Art Show.


Did You Know? Northwest High School Project Lead the Way students Dominic DeBella and Mason Pohlmann won a scholarship at the St. Louis STEM Showcase for their engineering invention.


Did You Know? Valley Middle School has been designated as a Project Lead the Way School of Distinction for their commitment to hands-on STEM learning!


The Jefferson County Health Department mobile van will be at House Springs Elementary, 4380 Gravois Rd. in House Springs, on July 31 and August 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
They will be offering school-required vaccines and $25 physicals (cannot bill to insurance).
Call 636-233-3491 to make an appointment. A parent or guardian must be present. If the physical is for athletics, the MSHAA form must be completed as much as possible ahead of time.


Did You Know? The Northwest R-I School District broke ground on new, secure entryways for High Ridge Elementary, Cedar Springs Elementary, and Woodridge Middle School.


Did You Know? 47 Northwest High School students attended Jefferson College technical school to get trades-focused instruction and experience.
