Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4–8) is right around the corner, and we’re excited to celebrate our amazing staff with a visit from Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck! There’s still time to join in the fun by purchasing a drink for a staff member. You can choose a specific teacher or make a donation to help treat our entire team.

Calling all Woodridge 8th graders — get ready for a fun night at Wheel 'n Skate!
Join your classmates on Monday, May 18, from 5:00–7:00 PM for an 8th-grade-only private skate night. This event is not open to the public, so it will be just our Woodridge 8th-grade students enjoying the rink together!
Tickets are $12 each and must be purchased in advance. Tickets will be sold at school from May 4 to May 14 in the main office.

Yearbooks are here! The Yearbook staff will be sorting books and getting them ready for students in the upcoming weeks. Seventh and Eighth grades will be getting theirs on May 14. Sixth grade will get theirs on May 15. There will be a very limited supply available to purchase on May 18 for $35.

Tomorrow is the final day to complete your 2026–2027 online enrollment in order to secure summer school enrollment and transportation. If you have started the online registration and selected “yes” for summer school but have not fully completed the enrollment process, your student is not yet enrolled in summer school. A submitted and approved application for the 2026–2027 school year is required to finalize summer school enrollment. Thank you.

Last night's Talent Show was EPIC! We saw instruments played, singing, poetry, acting, and even some sweet gaming skills. The competition was tight, but three acts walked away on top. In third place, with an original script and a hilarious performance, were Taylor W, Charlotte N, and Charlotte T! Mia R-E walked away with the second-place trophy after demonstrating her musical skills on both the piano AND the drums! And last, but not least, our first place winner had us all amazed as she played the piano and sang a song all from memory and CRUSHED it! Congratulations, Olivia E, you were amazing! Thank you to everyone who was brave enough to perform their talents in front of so many people. You were all fantastic! You kept the competition so close, the judges were sweating, and we couldn't be prouder!! Great job, everybody!

Our Pet Supply Drive ends this Friday, so there’s still time to drop off pet supplies to support our local shelter. Every donation makes a difference for our furry friends—thank you for helping us finish strong!
