The 2025-26 Free and Reduced Price Meal Application is now available in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you completed an application before July 1, 2025, you must complete another one to be valid for the 2025-26 school year. Should you need a paper copy, you can get it from the Free and Reduced Application page of the district website under "How to Apply". Please complete the application as soon as possible to avoid a gap in benefit coverage/to begin benefits before the first day of school if you qualify.
Completing the Free and Reduced Lunch Application not only allows for free and discounted meals, but it
Allows the district to receive additional funding for student support and services
Allows us to keep class sizes smaller and provide more staffing for programs
May provide discounted college application fees. local scholarships, and tuition assistance for dual credit and AP classes
May provide students with free or reduced costs for ACT, AP and/or SAT tests
Allows the district to receive discounts for educational field trips
For questions regarding the application process or Food Service in general, visit https://www.northwestschools.net/page/free-and-reduced-application. You can also call Food Service Administrative Assistant Christina Carden at 636-677-3473 x 21126 or email ccarden@northwestschools.net.

Tomorrow is the day!! Bring in those dollars and see how many feet of duct tape it will take to get Dr. Green stuck to the wall!!

In CATS class, students developed countries using strategic thinking and cooperation to grow infrastructure, expand territory, advance technology, form alliances, and influence global events. This project encouraged students to apply academic skills in real-world simulations while fostering critical thinking, creativity, diplomacy, and leadership. Each country had a station where classes could talk with the citizens and learn about what had been developed.

The last day of school is Friday, May 30th. Students will be dismissed at 11:46 am, and no backpacks are needed this day!

Just a reminder, there is no school on Monday, May 26th.

Woodridge is going to celebrate the final week of school in style!

The last day of school will be a day of celebration for our 8th graders!

Join us in celebrating the retirement of an extraordinary educator, mentor, and advocate — Karla Bunse!
For 26 years, she has been a guiding light in our district, beginning her journey as a compassionate kindergarten teacher, then serving as an elementary school counselor, and most recently supporting countless students as our dedicated middle school counselor.
Her impact spans generations — helping young learners take their first steps in the classroom, guiding children through their elementary years, and offering steady support during the transformative middle school experience. Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering commitment have left a lasting legacy in every hallway and heart.
Thank you, Ms. Bunse, for your years of dedication, your endless encouragement, and for always putting students first. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Wishing you all the best in this exciting new chapter!

We are still missing many library books. These were all due on 5/15/25.
