We are POSITIVE math games do NOT have a NEGATIVE impact on students! :) In Mrs. Naumann's math classes, her students learned about adding negative and positive numbers through a game called Grab-a-Charge. Each player would grab a handful of “charges,” negative and positive signs. They would then “cancel out,” by making zero pairs with opposites to see how many negatives or positives were left. They would bank those left and the player with the most in their bank, wins!
