Our Spring Habit Night will focus on Habits #5-8!

Donate to the Santa’s Little Snackerz Food Drive and help ensure Northwest students have enough to eat over the winter break! Santa's Little Snackerz Food Drive takes place Dec. 2-13, 2024. Students can leave their donations at the Cashier Desk at participating Northwest schools, or at the front office at the Early Childhood Center.

Our #SupportStaffSuperstar for this week is Murphy Elementary School lunchroom and playground aide Kelly Vickery! "From the moment Ms. Kelly walks into the building until the end of the school day, you can always count on her to have the warmest smile on her face!" said Gretchen Gorgal, MES principal. Congratulations, Ms. Kelly, and thank you for all you do for our students, staff, and families at Murphy!

Water has overtaken many of the roads in the Northwest School District today. Currently, the Big River is set to crest at 28’ at 6:00 p.m. tonight. We would not have time for the water to recede and for us to have adequate time to check roads before morning buses. Therefore, we are going to have another (Alternative Method of Instruction) AMI day Thursday, Nov. 7, 2024.

Dear Northwest Families,
We have been monitoring the flooding and watching the forecast of the Big River. Several roads in the district are impassable and the Big River will crest during school hours tomorrow. Out of an abundance of caution, we will have an Alternative Method of Instruction (AMI) day November 6, 2024.

Starting Monday, Oct. 14, each Monday and Friday breakfast at elementary schools will be Lucky Tray Day! A student with a lucky tray, signified by a sticker on the tray, will win a prize.
Each elementary school will have two winners per day!
