This morning, we visited Cedar Springs Elementary and spent time in the classrooms of Ms. Oglesby, Ms. Brown, Ms. Evans, and Ms. Bieker. From math reviews to reading and writing, students were engaged, learning, and having fun!

Four students from Cedar Springs Elementary have had artwork chosen to be on display in the Missouri state capitol for Youth Art Month during the month of March through April 10, 2025, when there will be a ceremony celebrating fine arts and all of the students whose work was chosen for display. The weather may be cold, but construction is heating up! Today, we broke ground on the Fine Arts addition at Valley Middle School! Due to continued unsafe road conditions in subdivisions across the district, the Northwest R-I School District will have an AMI day on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Students with devices should charge their Chromebooks today, and K-2 students will be contacted by their teachers through SeeSaw. Secondary students should check email and Google Classroom for assignments. Thank you for your continued cooperation and flexibility.
