It's Spring Break, and there is no better time for you to complete the Annual Online Registration Update for the 2025-2026 school year and for 2025 K-12 Summer School.
All families must complete the online registration by May 2, 2025, to ensure transportation for both 2025 Summer School and the 2025-2026 school year. Summer School is tentatively scheduled for June 2 - June 30, 2025.
If registration is not complete by the deadline, your student will not receive transportation for the first full week of summer school or for the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year.

In light of this evening's impending weather event, this is a reminder to anyone living within a 1/2 mile radius of High Ridge Elementary: The HRE gymnasium is a FEMA-rated storm shelter. The gym is open when a tornado warning is issued.
Pets are not allowed in order to accommodate as many people as possible.


At the March 2025 Board of Education meeting, Murphy Elementary School principal Gretchen Gorgal recognized the Student News Team at Murphy for their excellent work of sharing the great things at MES with their fellow students.

We dropped in on Mrs. Meade's 8th grade ELA class for a mock trial based on the Edgar Allen Poe story "The Tell-Tale Heart." Students acted as prosecution, defense, the defendant, judge, jury, and even the bailiff. As mock
trials sometimes go, a verdict has not been reached as of the end of class.











Congratulations go out to Brennan Woods Elementary fourth grade teacher Mindy Iezzi, this week's #TeacherProudTuesday honoree! BWE principal Annie Hammond said, "Mrs. Iezzi's fun personality and positive outlook make our school a brighter place for students and staff alike. Thank you to our incredible food service partners, SFE and Southwest Dairy Farmers, for bringing the Mobile Dairy Classroom to House Springs Elementary today!
Mobile classroom teacher Kayler Campbell taught students about dairy as a food group, demonstrated modern milking technology, and introduced everyone to Louise, a Jersey milking cow. What a fun and educational experience!

Third grade student Kiley Arnold won the Grade 3-5 essay contest from the Missouri Alliance for Arts Education and will be reading a portion of her Art Essay when she receives her award.
Fifth grade student Lyla Miers won the Missouri Alliance for Arts Education Grade 3-5 Content Creator Contest. Her video will be played when she receives her award.
Their art teacher is Michelle Howard.






Today is Maintenance Staff Appreciation Day! Let's all thank the hardworking maintenance team that keeps our schools running smoothly! From ensuring our buildings are safe and clean to handling repairs big and small, their dedication makes a difference every single day. Science and math took center stage in Mr. Rauch’s fourth-grade class at Brennan Woods Elementary this morning! Students explored sound waves with a hands-on science experiment using tuning forks and sugar granules on a membrane over a jar, demonstrating how the human ear reacts to sound. Later, they put their math skills to the test, using protractors to create and measure acute and obtuse angles. Hands-on learning in action! #STEM

Dr. Stella Viehland, principal at NHS, said "Matt Dittrich is a quiet leader with a big impact."
