Did You Know? The Northwest High School Student Council was awarded the Missouri Association of Student Councils Honor Council Gold Award, an award presented to only 58 student councils in the state of Missouri.

Did You Know? The Northwest High School Liontrac Yearbook earned a Top 10 percent Portfolio Award from Varsity Yearbooks.

Did You Know? Nine Northwest High School fine arts students placed in the annual Jefferson College High School Art Show.

Did You Know? Northwest High School Project Lead the Way students Dominic DeBella and Mason Pohlmann won a scholarship at the St. Louis STEM Showcase for their engineering invention.

The Jefferson County Health Department mobile van will be at House Springs Elementary, 4380 Gravois Rd. in House Springs, on July 31 and August 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
They will be offering school-required vaccines and $25 physicals (cannot bill to insurance).
Call 636-233-3491 to make an appointment. A parent or guardian must be present. If the physical is for athletics, the MSHAA form must be completed as much as possible ahead of time.

Did You Know? The Class of 2024 earned over $2.1 million in scholarships.

Northwest employees have continued their philanthropic endeavor, “The Northwest Way.” Employees have the opportunity to participate by donating a payroll deduction at an amount they select. This month’s recipient is the Jefferson County Foster Children's Fund.

Cedar Springs Elementary students are enjoyed learning about MyPlate and the food groups with Chef Tori and dietician Miss Amanda. They learned about perfect portion sizes for a healthy balanced meal and the importance of every food group. A big shoutout to Chef Tori and all of our food service workers for their efforts in educating and nourishing our students!









Proposition S projects at Cedar Springs, High Ridge, and Woodridge are continuing to go along according to schedule. The Cedar Springs project is in the midst of running electric and cables. High Ridge is still clearing some of the area for the new entryway, and Woodridge is framing their new entryway.
A huge shout-out to the High Ridge Firefighters for an amazing day yesterday at Murphy Elementary School! Our students had a blast meeting our community heroes, exploring the firetruck, and cooling down with the fire hose on a hot, summer day!









Today, the Missouri History Museum visited fifth-grade students at Cedar Springs Elementary to teach them about the fascinating history and connection between the Mississippi River and St. Louis. Students used their critical thinking skills to identify and understand the purpose of 200-year-old artifacts! Thank you to the Missouri History Museum for this amazing experience!
