Wampler Selected for Director of Activities Position

Kyle WamplerThe Northwest R-I Board of Education has approved Kyle Wampler as the new Director of Activities for the district.

Wampler has been a Project Lead the Way - Biomedical Science and Health teacher at Northwest High School since 2015. He has also been the Northwest head baseball coach since 2017 and an assistant football coach for Northwest since 2015. From 2011 through 2015, Wampler was an assistant coach at Lindenwood University. 

Wampler, a 2006 Northwest High School alum, has teaching certifications in History - Grades 9-12, Physical Education - Grades K-12, Health - Grades K-12, and Project Lead the Way Principles of Biomedical Science. He has a Bachelor degree in Recreation and Sport from William Jewell College, a Master of Arts in Teaching from Lindenwood University, and a Master of Arts in School Administration, also from Lindenwood University. 

"I am excited to have the opportunity to continue to help improve the Northwest School District through student activities and athletics,” said Wampler.

Wampler will begin his new role on July 1, 2022.
