Ms. Myers Recognizes Home Depot

Saying thank you to those who help our students succeed is a cornerstone of Northwest School District Board of Education meetings. This month, our Director of Student Services Ms. Nicole Myers recognized Home Depot in Arnold for their contribution in helping some of our youngest learners like Lenore get around. Lenore showcased how she is able to not only be more mobile with her car, but interact with others as well. Here is what she shared, Home Depot Recognized

"We would like to recognize the Arnold Home Depot Store for their contributions to the success of the ECC car. With their assistance we were able to create this adaptable go baby go car for our students with physical limitations.  Home Depot provided Northwest with the PVC piping and specialized glue required to make the motorized cars adaptable for our students. When we needed more materials, Home Depot provided us with everything needed, no questions asked.  Your store was instrumental in making gross motor activities available for students who were unable to participate before. We were able to reach our goal to it possible for students to interact independently with peers. You are a hero to our families and staff, thank you."
