Welcome to Student Health Services
The mission of the Northwest Health Services team is to minimize barriers to education and to educate our school community so that healthy lifestyles can be developed and maintained. Our priority is to maintain a healthy and safe learning environment.
Health services are provided in each building for students by registered nurses and health room assistants. Health room assistants are trained and supervised by licensed registered nurses. The Director of Health and Wellness coordinates the health and wellness of the district.
Parents/guardians are encouraged to routinely have their child examined by a physician. School health services are not designed to replace physician examinations or other primary health care services.
