After School Tutoring Program
The goal of Children Using Better Skills (CUBS) is to provide 2nd-3rd grade students, who are below grade level in the area of phonics, with extra support to help build that foundational skill. Building of phonics skills leads to better decoding, fluency and comprehension.
CUBS students stay after school two days a week, for an hour and a half, to receive remedial instruction and skill practice from January-May.
