I grew up in Columbia, Missouri.  I graduated from Truman State University with my Bachelor's in Communication/Journalism and my Master's in Elementary Education in 2011.  Upon graduating, I taught kindergarten in Columbia followed by teaching 1st grade in Jefferson City for a year.  

My husband and I moved to St. Louis in the summer of 2015 and I began teaching kindergarten at Maple Grove!  Every child is special in his/her own way, everyone has different strengths and motivations for learning.  Throughout my career, I hope to find various ways to teach my students and help them be successful in my classroom.
