Eye Thrive Mobile Vision Van visits our district every year providing free eye exams and glasses to qualifying students. For the 22/23 school year, the visit date will be on Monday, April 10, 2023. Please visit their website www.eyethrive.org for more information and call your child's school nurse.
Health Services at Northwest
Health services are provided in each building to students and employees by registered nurses and health-room assistants. Health-room assistants are trained and supervised by licensed registered nurses. The Director of Health and Wellness coordinates the health and wellness services for the District.
Parents/guardians are encouraged to routinely have their child examined by a physician. School health services are not designed to replace physician examinations or other primary health care services.
