Ms. Stephanie Haddad

Hello CSE Families!

My name is Stephanie Haddad and I have been the school counselor at Cedar Springs since 2019. I am looking forward to supporting our students and providing them with the skills to become leaders and life-long learners. I cannot wait to get to know you, your family, and most importantly your child!  

A little bit about myself - I have been working in education since 2013, and have had the opportunity to mentor students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade. My roles in education have included Preschool Teacher, Special Education Teacher's Assistant, School-Based Clinical Therapist and School Counselor. What I love most about the elementary level is the genuine curiosity students have in their learning and the world around them, as well as the opportunity for early intervention support that can have a lifetime positive impact on a child. In my free time, I enjoy running, cooking and traveling. 

As a School Counselor, my primary responsibility is to promote the academic, career, and social/emotional development of all students. I am able to accomplish this by meeting with students individually, in small groups, and by conducting classroom guidance lessons. I also am able to provide referrals to local community resources depending on the needs of the student and the family.
