    Governor Mike Parson recently announced Missouri's partnership with Varsity Tutors to offer live, high-quality SAT and ACT prep classes at no cost to Missouri's 267,000 high school students. The online classes will consist of 10 sessions, each 2.5 hours in length, and will be timed to sync with major test dates throughout the year. Classes will include live and interactive instruction, resources, and 2-3 full-length practice tests.

    What the class will cover:

    • How to break down questions to understand what is said, how it is said, and why it is said
    • Mastering key concepts in algebra, English, trigonometry and a lot more for both exams
    • The “Top 10 Must-Know” math skills and strategies
    • Tips and tactics to manage their time on test day.

    What to expect with the online Varsity Tutor class:

    • 25 hours of live, group instruction conducted online with presentation slides and a smartboard
    • Group and private chat for collaboration and Q&A
    • Polling and full class engagement activities
    • Homework and practice problem discussion time


    Upcoming test dates:


    SOHPOMORES: You will be taking the Pre-ACT for free in February! Half of the class will take the test on Monday, February 10th and the other half on Tuessday, February 11th. More information will be provided in your advisory.
