• Minutes Matter Information

Here is a video to help you understand why MINUTES MATTER! We only have 169 school days with our students to ensure that they make one year’s worth of academic growth. Every minute matters and counts. The state requirement is that students are present in school and learning at least 90% of the school year. While this may seem easy to achieve, in reality, it can be very difficult. This is because any time your child comes late to school, even if it is 10 minutes, it is still counted against your child’s attendance. Any time your child misses school at all whether documented or undocumented, counts against the number of minutes that your child is receiving instruction.  Each day students participate in 418 minutes of instructional time. Please reference the spreadsheet below so that you can ensure that your student will be able to participate in our incentives this school year.
