Ms. Mimi Kauffmann

My name is Mimi Kauffmann.  I have been with the Northwest School District for over 19 years.  Prior to this, I was a Home Study Coordinator providing Home Studies to the Court for Guardianships and Adoptions. I also worked for the State of Missouri as a Social Worker.

I have lived in the Northwest School District for over 30 years.  I have raised two wonderful children, Casey and Anna.  I enjoy living in the country, my flower gardens, my dog, Cooper and my cats, Charlie and Oscar.

My Favorite Quote:

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends.  To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.  This is to have succeeded.”

Ms. Sarah Kizer

Hello and welcome to Woodridge Middle.  My name is Sarah Kizer and I am one of two School Counselors.  This will be my 1st year with the Northwest School District and my 2nd as a school counselor.  Previously, I worked at a private school in Webster Groves.  I graduated with my Master of Arts degree in Counseling with certifications in Elementary and Secondary Schools, at Missouri Baptist University. I will be completing my Masters in Teaching with School Psychological Examiner certification at Missouri Baptist in the Fall of 2018.  I received my Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology at Maryville University.

As a school counselor I am here to support, mentor and advocate for our students. I will assist them academically, mentally, and emotionally. I will help the students become leaders, make positive choices, and grow into well-rounded citizens.

When not at school, I love to spend time with my husband Victor and my sons Will (13yr), Noah (11yr), Keegan (4yr) and Quinn (1yr).  As a family we enjoy family game nights, family vacations, watching the latest Marvel movie, playing sports, and reading together. My personal hobbies include fitness and exercise, softball, volleyball, yard work, and binge watching Netflix/Hulu.

I look forward to a wonderful year with your student(s). If you need anything please don’t hesitate to call or email.
