Ms. Suzanne Millichamp

I've been teaching full-time since 1995, first as a 4th grade teacher and then as a 1st grade teacher (all subject areas). After completing my Master's degree (specializing in teaching reading) and working as a classroom teacher for nine years, I began my career as a Reading Specialist in the Northwest R1 School District. I have been a Reading Resource teacher, working with grades 1-8 in our district since 2003.

I grew up in St. Louis, where I went to grade school and went on to graduate from a small, parochial high school in Webster Groves. I have lived in Missouri my entire life, but love to travel, especially to coastal regions.

I enjoy swimming (especially in the ocean), boating (pontooning is my speed), and kayaking in the beautiful rivers Missouri has to offer. I love spending time with my family and our little dog, Jack. For exercise I like to swim laps, walk my dog, and even play a little bit of pickleball every once in awhile. Of course, I also love reading!
