I have been teaching in the Northwest R-1 District since 2008.  I have taught grades 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th PE/Health.  Last year was my first year at Maple Grove Elementary.  I coached boys and girls soccer at the High School level and am currently coaching Softball and Baseball at the Northwest.

I graduated from Northwest in 2002.  I played soccer, basketball, and baseball in high school.  After high school I continued playing baseball at Southwestern Illinois College for two years.  I then moved on to Quincy University to play for two years.  Some of my hobbies include being active, hunting, and spending time with my family.
