Northwest Wellness Center is a collaborative project between Anthropedia and the Northwest School Distrtict. Thanks to generous funding from the Jefferson Memorial Community Foundation we are able to offer a numer of workshops, classes and one on one well-being coaching for free.

Our fundamental goal is to improve the health and well-being of the Northwest Community; students, staff, parents and community We help people set health goals, we are partners for people seeking to live a healthier and happier lifestyle.

Northwest District is committed to the optimal development of every student. The District believes that for students to have the opportunity to achieve personal, academic, developmental and social success, there needs to exist a positive, safe and health-promoting learing environment at every level, in every setting, throughout the school year. The District promotes healthy schools by supporting wellness, good nutrion, and regular physical acitivity as part of the total learning environment. The District supports a healthy environment where children learn and participate in positive dietary and lifestyle practices. Schools contribute to the basic health status of children by facilitating learning through the support and promotion of good nutrition and physical activity. Improved health optimizes student performance potential.
